As part of its corporate social responsibility activities and sense of giving back to the community Global – Jordan arranged a visit to Jordan’s River Foundation Therapeutic Center for child victims of maltreatment - Dar Al Aman on the 25th of November 2009 to celebrate the joy of Eid Al Adha.
Global – Jordan believes in partnership of the private sector with civil society organizations for the well being of the community. This partnership initiated by Global will reflect the company’s message of extending its moral support for the prosperity of the community as a whole; and children specifically.
Global Jordan’s team visit brought joy and happiness to the children, as the team distributed Eid gifts for the kids and spent some time with them. Ms. Dalia Adawieh Marketing Manager for Global Jordan expressed her pleasure with this visit and said “ we are glad to have done this visit and interacted with the kids ;this visit serves to reflect our belief in helping the Jordanian community ; in which we place our hopes in creating awareness of the need to continuously support such organizations .”
Commenting on this gesture Mrs. Samia Bishara Director of the Child Safety program explained the great impact of such initiatives on the children, and the significant role the private sector under takes towards providing better opportunities to the community especially the children.
